Well, it's official: Jakks' micro line is no more. But somewhere out there, there's a secret line of Micro Aggression figures being sold in the most unlikely places. Even more generic than the Ring Starz, it's a knock-off line known as...Wildly Match Wrestle!

Yes, someone out there took some WWE Micro Aggression figures and remolded them into this shameless bootleg of a product. These cheap sets come with a ring and four figures. There are three sets in total:
Set #1: John Cena, Undertaker, Shawn Michaels, Triple H
Set #2: Finlay, Batista, Great Khali, Kane
Set #3: Rey Mysterio, Mr Kennedy, Matt Hardy, Jeff Hardy
Remember when Triple H was in his blue trunks or when Jeff Hardy came out in his red & white attire? Neither do I but it's funny to see them in different color schemes. None of these micros have any tattoos. The paint jobs are decent but the thing that stands out the most is their eyes. They have these weird bug-eyed googly eyes!
I was going to do some simple head swaps when I realized something else; These micros don't have any articulation! That's right, whoever made them just took the figures, posed them, and remolded them as a single piece. Any worse and they'd be attached to a keychain!
So do these figures even come with anything? The packaging shows them with tons of stuff (More on that later) but in reality, they only come with a ring and ring steps. The ring is a stand-alone one and you'd think they copied the Ring Starz version but actually, it's a whole new ring! The turnbuckles are different and the posts are square instead of round. Also, instead of the regular canvas surface, they accidentally gave the ring mat a diamond plate texture. This makes it the first ever steel ring, now we're talking hardcore!
The ring apron has some generic but hilarious stickers applied. They have silly logos like "Wildly Hot Wrestle" and my absolute favorite, "Wildly Match DownSmack"!
The steel ring steps are either red, silver, or black, depending on the set. Interestingly, the steps don't go on the ring corners like normal but instead, attach to the middle slot on the side of the ring.
Now, back to the packaging. These sets come in a plastic "bubble" with a cardboard base. The graphics on the base show a bunch of weapons and accessories that don't exist. Aside from the Jakks trash can, shopping cart (Both listed as "Ash Cart"), table, ladder, & chair, they advertise a micro belt, steel railing, a stretcher, fire extinguisher, and a metal briefcase. It also claims that the full playset comes with a steel cage that surrounds the ring. Unfortunately, these are lies as most of the accessories are photoshopped on the figures.
I couldn't help but laugh a bit at the funny slogans like "The Vehemence Compete" or, even funnier, "Give First-Aid a Bed"...
The most curious thing that's advertised is another playset that comes with a stand-alone six-sided ring and cage! Could this be the only remaining trace of Jakks' TNA micro playset? The picture even says "Total Nonstop Action Wrestling Wrestle" next to it. I have no idea if this set actually exists, though.
So where do you even get these sets? Well, it looks like they came from a Irish dollar store called EuroGeneral and may be rarer than the Ring Starz micros! I was lucky to get them from a fellow member who, like me, is trying to hunt down that six-sided ring.
Overall, these are a fun novelty set of micros and, I'll admit, a pretty neat new ring. I think I'll customize one of the rings for some specialty micro matches. If I ever get a chance to do a picture fed, I might just call it "Wildly Hot Wrestle" for fun. Hopefully, the six-sided ring is real and shows up later on. Chances are, though, these micros will never hit the US but you never know; These are the type of toys that could randomly appear in a 99ยข store or a local neighborhood food mart. Big thanks goes to MicroMax for shipping these sets out to me from Europe. I never would've gotten them if it wasn't for him!
